There's a rush by organizations to incorporate AI in the workplace processes, and also a rush for candidates to gain AI skills through various courses.
However, there are timew when it's felt that they should have taken more time to consider factors, including the future before taking the decision.

For eg., I wonder if those rushing to learn MLL, have considered that one day, they might be made redundant by AI systems that they have created.

Here's a thought-provoking article on why there are regrets for replacing people with #AI.

From the article: "your competitors will buy AI technologies similar to, or better than, those you are using to replace your people. Any first-mover advantage will be quickly lost.".

Participant Feedback - Holistic Decision Making

It was a wonderful experience to design and deliver this critical workshop for the participants of a manufacturing organization.  It was a two-day workshop and was attended by junior, middle and senior level participants.  They enthusiastically participated with questions and points of view and made the entire workshop an experience to remember.

I used a blend of facilitator led discussions, facilitation processes, Decision-making tools and Group discussions that enabled participants to articulate their understanding of the topic, as well as their action plans.

I'm grateful to Skalent India for the opportunity to do this workshop.

Here are a few pictures of the action and their learnings from this (life-skill) topic.  Do click on the images to see details of their learnings.

Fascinating read on making #changemanagement initiatives work without adding too many additional responsibilities.

From the article - "Tremendous impact can be gained by eliminating obstacles versus adding more incentives and “solutions.”"

Addressing Severe Uncertainty

Making decisions gets more difficult every day, thanks to increasingly huge amount of available information, and the rapid pace of change.  How do leaders or anyone else make effective decisions.

Here's an interesting read about #decisionmaking during times of #uncertainty.

This provoking line from the article: "People crave certainties and so tend to invent knowledge that doesn’t exist."
