Decode your Strengths using CliftonStrengths

A key understanding that Ryan developed was the importance of letting go of the practice of labeling people in all interactions, whether personal or professional.  Labels tend to colour our view of others and affect the way we interact with the world.

His belief that people are happier and more engaged when they get the opportunity to use their strengths in their roles, led him to design his Flagship Program titled ‘Decode Your Strengths’ for organizations wishing to leverage their employees’ talents for growth.  With his Strengths Strategy Coach Certification from Strengths Strategy USA, Ryan is India’s First Strengths Strategy Coach and Trainer.

The workshop is designed as a three day workshop, for ensuring maximum learning and application.  Two day workshops can be designed by supplementing this balance learning through group coaching sessions.

This workshop is based on positive psychology and uses the CliftonStrengths assessment (formerly Gallup Strengthsfinder) to identify the participant’s strengths, followed up with an in-depth understanding of how the strengths manifest as behaviours both personally and professionally. This understanding can be used along with topics such as Leadership, Team-building, Collaboration, and / or Communication Skills, thereby creating stronger  employee engagement, aligning their strengths with their goals, improving team productivity, teamworking and collaboration at all levels.

At the end of the workshop, participants :

1) Will have a better understanding of their own and each others' strengths
2) Will collaborate better because they understand how each other's strengths manifest.
3) Will be more happier and more productive because they are leveraging their strengths.
4) Will be more engaged with their work and the organization.

The workshop will incorporate discussions, activities and carefully designed role-plays.

Over 3 days, the following areas will be uncovered to enhance the participant’s understanding of how strengths work:
Understanding Talents and Strengths
34 Themes of Talent
The Four Domains of Strength.
Recognize the strengths in your daily life.
Understanding others through the lens of Strengths
Tools to leverage your strengths to improve productivity
The importance of Interdependence
Designing Goals based on Strengths using
Understanding weakness and what to do about it
Barriers to contributing strengths

Post the workshop, individual coaching of the respective participants is recommended as a follow-up in order to help the participants develop a deeper awareness of their strengths in action, and consciously apply them in their roles.

Some benefits (value to the organization) of enabling the people in an organization to use their strengths at work (after the workshop / coaching sessions) :
  • High engagement of employees in their roles
  • To accelerate positive growth, increased productivity and performance
  • Create Strong Interdependence among the organization's teams, leading to better collaboration
  • Build stronger bonds of Trust
  • By understanding how strengths manifest as behaviour, participants reduce judgement of both self and others, thus promoting openmindedness.
  • A better understanding of the roots of weaknesses, and how to manage the weakness instead of fixing them
